After The Test & Treatment Options
After the Test
Once your specimen is submitted, results are typically processed and available within a few business days. However, processing times may vary. When ready, your results will be delivered in a clear, easy-to-understand report. If any results suggest a potential infection, you’ll receive a call from an independent healthcare coordinator. Independent physicians are also available to answer any questions or discuss your results in detail.
Treatment Options
As part of your purchase, you have the opportunity to consult with an independent physician. If appropriate, they may be able to prescribe treatment based on your test results.

What’s Included in the Test
TSH: (individual test cost: $40)
A thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) blood test measures the level of TSH in your blood to check how well your thyroid gland is working, which helps diagnose and manage thyroid disorders.
Free T4: (individual test cost: $24)
A free thyroxine (T4) blood test measures the level of unbound T4 hormone in your blood, which helps assess thyroid function and diagnose thyroid disorders. This test is important because free T4 is the active form of the hormone that can enter tissues and exert biological effects.
Free T3: (individual test cost: $15)
A free triiodothyronine (T3) blood test measures the level of T3 hormone that is not bound to proteins in your blood, providing a more accurate assessment of thyroid function, especially in diagnosing hyperthyroidism.
Total T3: (individual test cost: $40)
A total triiodothyronine (T3) blood test measures the combined levels of both bound and free T3 hormone in your blood, which helps evaluate thyroid function and diagnose thyroid disorders such as hyperthyroidism.
TSI: (individual test cost: $40)
A Thyroid Stimulating Immunoglobulin (TSI) blood test measures the level of TSI antibodies in your blood to help diagnose and monitor Graves' disease, an autoimmune disorder that causes hyperthyroidism.
TRAb: (individual test cost: $210)
A thyroid receptor antibody blood test measures the presence of antibodies that can either stimulate or block the thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor, helping to diagnose and manage autoimmune thyroid diseases like Graves' disease and Hashimoto's thyroiditis. This test is particularly useful for confirming the cause of hyperthyroidism and predicting the course of the disease.
Selenium: (individual test cost: $200)
A selenium blood test measures the level of selenium, an essential trace element, in your blood. This test is valuable for diagnosing thyroid disease because selenium is crucial for the production and regulation of thyroid hormones, and deficiencies can contribute to conditions like Hashimoto's thyroiditis and Graves' disease.
Zinc: (individual test cost: $60)
A zinc blood test measures the level of zinc in your blood, which is important for various bodily functions, including immune response and enzyme activity. Low zinc levels can be valuable for diagnosing thyroid disease because zinc deficiency is associated with an increased frequency of functional thyroid disorders and thyroid autoimmunity.
Iodine: (individual test cost: $60)
An iodine blood test measures the level of iodine in your blood, which is valuable for diagnosing thyroid disease because iodine is essential for thyroid hormone production, and abnormal levels can indicate thyroid dysfunction. Elevated or deficient iodine levels can help identify conditions such as hypothyroidism or hyperthyroidism, aiding in the assessment of thyroid health.
TPO: (individual test cost: $50)
A Thyroid Peroxidase (TPO) blood test measures the level of TPO antibodies in your blood to help diagnose autoimmune thyroid diseases like Hashimoto's thyroiditis and Graves' disease. High levels of TPO antibodies indicate that your immune system is attacking your thyroid, which can lead to thyroid dysfunction.
